▼略歴
高校卒業後、米国のイェール大学（Yale University）に進学。2012年10月現在、学部2年生として在籍中。コンピューターサイエンス専攻。11歳からマジックをたしなみ、ニューヨーク、東京を拠点とするプロマジシャンとしても活動する。
日本に、世界中から新しいアイデアが集まり、年齢や職業に関わらずそのインスピレーションをシェアする新しい“GAKKO（学校）”を作ることを目的に、2011年、仲間と GAKKOを設立。知識や技術を習得する場ではなく、インスピレーションやアイデアのための場を目指し、Question Leaning（学びとは何か）と問い続けている。
2012年8月に企業の協力も取りつけ、イェール大学とハーバード大学に在籍するGAKKOメンバー十数名と日本の高校生30名で、香川県直島にて5泊6日の第1回サマーキャンプを開催。2013年夏には、第2回GAKKOの開催を予定している。その活動はWIRED誌にも取り上げられるなど、新たな学びへの挑戦として注目されている。

GAKKO Project Founder/Director

Biography:
Kenta Koga is a Junior majoring in Computer Science at Yale University. He is the Founder / Director of the GAKKO Project, and also a professional magician based in New York and Tokyo. Kenta started GAKKO project aiming to curate a new “School = GAKKO ” where people from all over the world bring innovative ideas to Japan and share their inspiration to like-minded people without the boundaries of age and occupation. Kenta is now preparing for the second GAKKO to be held summer 2013. His project was featured on WIRED magazine in Japan.
