狂言・伝統芸能愛好者

▼略歴
西町インターナショナルスクールの7年生(中学1年生)。3歳で能楽の世界に触れ、狂言の面白さに感動。和泉流狂言(三宅近成門下生)でお稽古を始める。日本の伝統芸能、特に狂言の持つ「おかしみ」や「美しさ」が、人種、言語を超えて人々に笑顔や感動をもたらすことを、自らの経験で実感。
狂言が世界中の人々の笑いに通じるコミュニケーション・プロトコールを持つことを利用して、その面白さ、楽しさを、東北でのボランティア活動や学校でのワークショップ(日本語、英語)、能楽堂での舞台を通じて、弟の満太郎(3年生)とともに、多くの人々に伝える活動を続けている。
狂言の他にも和太鼓、三味線など伝統芸能を愛し、学び続ける日本語、英語、ドイツ語のトリリンガル。

Kyogen Performer

Nishimachi International School Grade 7 (first year of middle school). Touch to the world of Noh at the age of three, moved by the fun of Kyogen.Started to practice (disciple formation near Miyake) Izumi Kyogen. Realized in their own experience, that the traditional arts of Japan, and especially with the Kyogen “humor”, “beauty” will bring smiles and excitement to people beyond race and language. Based on the fact that with the communication protocol Kyogen leads to laughter of people around the world, started workshops in schools (English and Japanese), in the Noh theater and volunteer activities in Tohoku. Making fun through the stage, along with his brother Mantaro Kurihara (grade 3), has been working to tell a lot of people that Kyogen can be a world-wide protocol making people in different countries laugh. Loves the traditional arts taiko, shamisen, etc. In addition to Kyogen, is trilingual and continues to learn Japanese, English, and German. Election from 2012 Kids Talent Search TEDxKids @ Chiyoda.
